Cali-Tourists

Fifteen feet of California coastline viewed from the height of a cliff. California’s Meditterranean climate is iconic and rare: only 3% of the Earth’s landmass. As a California native, Gabrielle has a deep affinity for the native flora and fauna. But she is not a purist: non-native peacocks seem at home in this otherwise native climate. Mixing and matching disparate elements is one of the most enjoyable challenges.
Cordelia’s Sister

The designer loved an earlier painting titled “Cordelia's Bliss” but what this space needed was something softer, more abstracted, and slightly smaller in size. “Cordelia's Sister” was the answer. Vibrant and alive without being loud, it brings energy and joy to the white paneled walls while honoring the darker flooring beneath it. The palette was carefully calibrated; light and happy, but grounded enough to anchor the room without being an overwhelming distraction.
